I was truly uplifted by the experience at John's Highland Comfort! The property is well-kept and beautiful, with a cozy bed and a clean washroom that provided 24-hour hot water. The peacefulness of the place, hidden away from the main road, was a highlight for me. The balcony offered privacy and a stunning view of lush greenery. John and Judy, the owners, were amazing hosts who made me feel safe and went out of their way to help me when I needed medical supplies. The homemade breakfast of mixed-veg omelette with fruit and juice was perfect. This place is a great escape to simply relax and enjoy the environment.

One drawback is that not all phone networks work well in the area, currently only Vodafone. However, with a bit of planning ahead, the available Wifi should be sufficient.

The hosts were kind and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, the shower always had hot water, AC worked well, and the guest house was in a quiet location near the beach. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. Enjoyed reading on the porch and renting a cycle. Looking forward to returning for a relaxing trip!
